“Provisional Focus” (2026), my solo exhibition at Beit Hamashevot (Pump House) Gallery, presents a site-responsive photographic installation that reimagines urban architecture as layered visual memory. Working with photographs I took in Tel Aviv’s Neve Sha’anan neighborhood, I digitally dismantle and reconstruct fragments of buildings into a suspended composite form inspired by the iconic “Ship House.” Positioned deep within the gallery and oriented toward the street, the work redirects the viewer’s gaze inward, transforming a familiar landmark into a quiet, introspective structure.

Through processes of fragmentation and reassembly, I explore how architecture carries traces of history, use, and disappearance. Rather than documenting the city directly, I construct an image composed of residual forms lines, layers, and openings, that evoke memory without fixing it. The exhibition invites viewers to consider how urban spaces persist as suspended, evolving impressions.
